My body is going to be hurting later, and I probab My body is going to be hurting later, and I probably won’t be able to walk normally tomorrow, but my daughter and I got 101 tomato seedlings (11 varieties) and 70 pepper seedlings (20 varieties) transplanted today! I can’t wait for this tunnel to be filled with food. Tomorrow we will work on our cucumbers, zucchini, herbs, etc. We still have 4 1/2 rows (of 8 total) open for planting. This is the toughest part of growing food… it’s strenuous on your body and extremely time consuming, but absolutely worth it to have wholesome food to feed my family with! Y’all, I wasn’t sure if this smart door would Y’all, I wasn’t sure if this smart door would be worth the extra cost, but it totally is!!! I love the privacy it provides, when we want it to, while keeping a clean, sleek look. And the fact that we can control it from a button, app and voice control is even better. I’m showing y’all this house in her ugly state so we can all appreciate the transformation she’s going through and how great she’s going to look afterwards. We’ve been calling her the “Hidden House” because she had been stripped down, swallowed up by trees and vines, and abandoned for about 12 years. 💚 A little day-on-the-farm asmr for y’all as 💚 A little day-on-the-farm asmr for y’all as I tackle spring chores on our South Carolina homestead! The chickens decided they wanted to hitch a ride on the tractor while I filled up the bucket with water to care for the apple and peach trees I planted earlier this week. Using a battery-operated pump, I made sure they got a good drink to help them thrive. After that, I visited Ace and Lainey, our Nubian goats, who will hopefully be welcoming some goat kids soon! Then, it was time to fire up the tractor and brush hog to clear the back trail, where wild berries are starting to grow now that spring has arrived in South Carolina. This pool is a total WIN! Our ducks are LOVING it. This pool is a total WIN! Our ducks are LOVING it. They have so much space to bathe and play, and I love that it has a drain and is so much easier to empty and clean than the hard plastic kiddie pool we’ve been using. Plus, it folds up nice and small and is light enough to move around our homestead! I mean, the next time I clean and refill it, I may just have to chill in it for a bit before I let the ducks in! 🤣☀️ The Amazon shopping 🔗 is in my bio if you want to snag yours before they sale out!
