The Best Way to Store & Organize Seeds for your Garden

Y’all, these photo storage cases are the PERFECT way to store and organize seeds for your garden.

They are intended to be used for photo storage and scrapbooking, but many gardeners – like me – are using them for seed storage! Can you blame us? The outer case holds 16 of the 4×6 photo cases. I’m able to fit several packages of seeds (if needed) into each of those.

I use 4 storage keepers
I have about 16 packets of hot peppers in this case!
I organize them with my label maker in alphabetical order
I pull out the individual cases to take to the garden when it’s time to plant them!

As you can see in the photos above, I used my label maker to categorize my seeds, then put the cases in alphabetical order. This makes it easier to find my seeds when it’s time to plant them. I simply pull out the individual cases to take out to the garden with me and it’s a mess free process and all of my leftover seeds stay dry. Even when I use an entire seed packet when planting, I still save the packets to refer back to for growing instructions and to keep track of what varieties I like or don’t like for the next growing season. This system makes it simple.

I highly recommend giving these a try. I used to store my seeds in Ziplock bags and would end up losing them, or the bag would rip, or seeds packets would come unfolded and spill and get mixed up. This prevents all of that and makes gardening so much easier (and more enjoyable) when organized.

Let me know in the comments below if you give this a try and love it as much as I do!
